University of Kerala has undertaken the following technology transfers.

The Department of Fisheries requested to provide the solution in connection with the fitment of automatic identification system in the mechanized fishing vessel to augment the coastal security. In connection with this, we propose to transfer of technology based on the research work done by Sri. Sajan Ambadiyil, Research Scholar, under the supervision of Dr. V. P. Mahadevan Pillai of the Dept. of Optoelectronics, University of Kerala. One Technology Transfer is completed related to the development of Security Registration Board with GPRS (SRBG) network for sea vessels to augment the coastal security. This has been adopted by Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) in association with Fisheries Department, Government of Kerala, India (2017) in connection with the fitment of Automatic Identification System in the mechanized fishing vessel to augment the coastal security.

The software for on-line admission processing, developed in-house by the University has been sought by the University of Kannur and has been provided to them at a free of cost, the software along with technology and algorithm for the UG Single Window admission has been transferred to the Registrar, Kannur University by the Director, Computer Centre. The Algorithm for the centralised allotment process was developed by the Director Computer Centre and the technology and Software was developed by the Programmers of the University Computer Centre.
