Considering the Health protection of College students, Health Centres started functioning in the University Senate House Campus from 1962 and in the University Kariavattom Campus from 1975 onwards, and consulting services are imparted to the students, employees and their dependents on all working days from 8.00 AM to 2.00 PM at Kariavattom campus. These services are provided under the Team Leadership of the Resident Medical Officer, Health Information Officer, Clinical Psychologist, Radiographer, Lab Technician, Nurse, II Grade Assistant and Medical Attender. For providing better services of the Health Centre to the various departments in the Campus, Health Awareness Programme including eradication and prevention of contagious diseases like Nippah Virus and other water born diseases are conducted from 2016 onwards by the Health Centre.

For the convenience of the students staying at the hostels under the University and the hostel at Thycaud, Health Related Programme including Counselling Classes are available at the Health Centre functioning in the University Karyavattom Campus. Consulting Services are also available for the Students in the Kariavattom Campus Health Centre.

The Health Information Officer is in charge of the various Health Awareness Programme undertaken by the University Health Centre.
