UNIVERSITY OF KERALA ONLINE SC/ST/OBC STUDENTS' GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL PORTAL

The UGC has directed the Universities to develop a web page on their website for lodging complaints of caste based discrimination by SC/ST/OBC students as part of prevention of caste based discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions. Accordingly, sanction has been accorded by the Vice-Chancellor to the following:-

1. To open a website link in the University website for lodging complaints of caste discrimination by SC/ST/OBC students in the University level.
2. To nominate Dr. Shaji. A., Professor of History, School of Distance Education as ‘Nodal Officer’ for managing the new website link and monitoring the programme.

The students belonging to SC, ST and OBC category can lodge their grievance through the portal which is visible to the Nodal Officer who in turn take remedial measures and upload the result through the same portal.
