Professional Biography

Subodh received Ph. D in Physics from University of Kerala, for the research work carried out at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. After the completion of Ph. D (Jan 2009), he worked as a postdoctoral fellow (from Feb. 2009 to Aug. 2009) and later as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow (Sep. 2009 to Oct. 2010) at Stuttgart University, Germany and as a CEFIPRA postdoctoral fellow (from Nov. 2010 to Aug. 2011) in the Inorganic Materials Laboratory of the University of Rennes, France. Later on, he worked as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow (from Sep. 2011 to Sep. 2013) at the Department of Energy and Hydrocarbon Chemistry of the University of Kyoto, Japan. After completing nearly 4 and half years of postdoctoral research from abroad, he worked as a CSIR SRA under the scientist’s pool scheme at CSIR-NIIST Thiruvananthapuram from Oct. 2013 to Feb. 2014. Presently he is an Assistant Professor at the department of Physics of University of Kerala.

His research work on functional materials came out as 50 publications in international journals. He also published 2 book chapters. Further, he presented his research work in many national and international conferences. He is also a reviewer for many international journals.
